Khabib Nurmagomedov BRAWL: New angle shows UFC star MISSED Dillon Danis
KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV’S drawl with Conor McGregor’s team-mate Dillon Danis marred the UFC 229 headline fight on Sunday.
UFC: Khabib apologises for causing mass BRAWL after win
Nurmagomedov leapt into the crowd to fight Danis after beating McGregor in their high-profile rumble.
Danis was escorted away from the ruckus by police, while Nurmagomedov was not allowed the UFC belt he successfully defended against McGregor.
Footage of the scrap between Nurmagomedov and Danis did the rounds over the weekend.
Nurmagomedov was seen vaulting the Octagon wall and then jumping towards Danis to start the scrap.
And now a fresh angle from the post-fight brawl has been revealed.
It shows Nurmagomedov indeed getting past security to crawl over the Octagon wall.
He then wastes no time leaping towards Danis.
But it is clear from the video that Nurmagomedov missed his mark, with Danis quick to shift out of the way.
Danis defends himself and then charges at Nurmagomedov, pushing the pair into a crowd of people.
And that’s when the melee begins, with punches raining down from all angles.
A number of fists make contact with Danis as he is moved towards the media benches in the arena.
Las Vegas police are straight in to try and keep the peace but the fighting continues for at least a minute.
This all happened while two of Nurmagomedov’s team-mates entered the Octagon and hit out at McGregor.
Conor McGregor himself had tried to join the melee but was prevented from doing so by a steward.
