Floyd Mayweather Sr has claimed preliminary talks over a rematch between his son, Floyd Jr, and Conor McGregor are underway.
"They are talking like him and Conor McGregory are going to fight,” Mayweather Sr told Helen Yee over the weekend. “That’s what it sounds like.
“I don’t know for sure but I’m just saying the way things are sounding to me.
"Sounds like he (my son) wants to fight again.”
He continued: “I’m just saying I think they are going to fight the same way [boxing rules].
“I think that Conor McGregor wants to get that win back that he had, which is never coming back to him anyway.
“It’s being talked about and it sounds like there is a lot of interest in it right now.”

UFC president Dana White has predicted McGregor’s UFC 229 showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov will be the promotion’s first two-million pay-per-view buy event.
“I am confident it will do two million on pay-per-view,” White told Yahoo Sports Kevin Iole.
“Believe me when I tell you, this will be massive. It’s going to blow people away how big this event will be.”

UFC lightweight title contender Kevin Lee believes McGregor will shock the world and KO the undefeated Nurmagomedov next month.
“I think Conor’s probably going to sleep him,” 'The Motown Phenom' said during an appearance on MMAjunkie Radio.
“I’m just looking at the matchup and how the styles is, and especially with someone like Khabib.
“Khabib’s just got the same holes that I’ve been seeing for years and years and years. And I know Conor’s been seeing them, too.
“So, when you see those holes, and they’re not getting at least a little closed, then he’s going to get slept.”
