French Open 2018 schedule: Order of play on Monday with Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams
RAFAEL NADAL and Serena Williams headline a magnificent Monday at the French Open as the competition enters the business stage.
Nadal, who has won the first three rounds in straight-sets, is again on Court Philippe-Chatrier for his first ever meeting with Maximilian Marterer.
The pair are second on court following women’s No 1 seed Simona Halep against Elise Martens.
Nadal’s clash with Marterer will be followed by the eagerly-awaited heavyweight clash between Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
The two fierce rivals have not met in over two years and a lot of hatred has been built in the meantime, setting up a fantastic last-16 fixture.
Marin Cilic will then close centre court when he takes on Fabio Fognini, who knocked out British No 1 Kyle Edmund in round three.
