Roger Federer: Bastian Schweinsteiger makes bizarre request to tennis ace
GERMANY footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger wants to meet Roger Federer for some advice on parenthood.
Roger Federer is currently competing at Indian Wells
Federer is due to face Borna Coric in the semi-finals at Indian Wells today before heading to Chicago next week ahead of this year's Laver Cup.
The Laver Cup sees a team from Europe clash against Team World with 12 matches played over three days.
Federer helped Europe win 15-9 last year and heads to Chicago next week in preparation for September's tournament.
The Swiss legend has never been to Chicago though and tweeted asking ‘what shall I do while I am in town?’

And former Manchester United midfielder Schweinsteiger was quick to respond.
“You should visit Chicago Riverwalk, the bean, and if you have time to catch up to give me some advice on fatherhood,” Schweinsteiger tweeted in response to Federer.
Schweinsteiger currently calls Chicago home.
The 33-year-old joined MLS side Chicago Fire last year having left Manchester United.

He is married to tennis star Ana Ivanovic with the couple announcing in November that they are expecting the first child.
There have been no signs that the child has been born yet though or an expected due date.
Roger Federer is father to two sets of identical twins. A pair of girls were born in 2009 while a set of boys arrived in 2014.
