Curling: Ben Hebert flings broom head into spectators
Curling at the Winter Olympics goes all the way back to 1924.
It is a sport notorious for it’s slow, mesmerising play and amusing broom action.
But there are times when things get a little bit too dangerous - and not only when players slip on the ice!
As this clip shows from the 2007 Canadian Open, no one is safe.
The video shows Ben Hebert, part of the Canadian 2018 Winter Olympics men’s team, accidentally firing his broom head into the crowd.
Hebert takes a swing a bit like hitting a golf ball and then looks on in horror as the head flies off his broom.

Fortunately no one appeared to be hurt in the incident.
Hebert ran into the stands and hugged a fan who was the target of his unfortunate shot.
Fans reacted after the flashback video was posted on Twitter by user @RowdyPfeif.
Herbert himself wrote: “That seems like a looong time ago... Mostly I can tell by how good my Ken Griffey swing was! Won a lot of Derbys with that Ghetto Hack.”
