Christine Ohuruogu to compete in Manchester Great CityGames
CHRISTINE OHURUOGU will race over 200 metres at the BT Great CityGames in Manchester on May 17.
The world 400m champion will compete for the first time on home soil this year on a straight track on Deansgate.
The 29-year-old, who memorably set a British record 49.41 seconds in winning the world title by just 0.004secs last summer, will be up against Jamaican Christine Day.
Scottish 400m hurdler Eilidh Child will compete over 200m hurdles, going up against Denisa Rosolova of the Czech Republic and Meghan Beesley.
