Canoeing: Tim Brabants retired
TIM BRABANTS, Britain’s most successful Olympic canoeist, has retired.
The 36-year-old appeared at four Games, becoming the first British canoeist to win gold at Beijing in 2008 in the K1 1000m.
Six-time Olympic track cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy is also expected to retire this week.
