Steph Curry: Warriors star makes INCREDIBLE buzzer-beater from 60 FEET against Spurs
STEPH CURRY produced a moment of magic against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, hitting a buzzer-beater from deep inside his own half.
He started the game poorly, missing seven of his first eight shots.
Then, he attempted a lay-up from close range, which he missed, and then had another blocked off the backboard.
However, with one second left in the first quarter he showed that he was not affected by the slow start, as he attempted a 60-foot shot.
As he was inbounded the ball, he immediately turned and threw the ball up court, only to see it bounce in off the glass.
Warriors fans immediately took to Twitter to praise the star.
“Curry continues to amaze and entertain! Let’s keep it going Dubs!!!” one fan wrote.
Another wrote: “I will be watching this for a while. Unreal.”
One more wrote: “Steph makes it look so easy.”
“I feel like people aren’t hype enough. I screamed when I saw this,” another fan posted.
Curry sprinted straight to his new team-mate Andrew Bogut and gave him a high-five, as the Warriors bench went wild.
The point guard discussed Bogut’s impact on the team pre-match, and said it felt weird to see him again.
"That was probably one of the weirdest moments for sure,” Curry said.
“Just walking in the restaurant and seeing him at one of the tables.
“But we kind of just started about the stuff we normally talk about, playing poker, where we live in the Bay, kids, all that type of stuff.
“A lot's happened in three years but he's the same guy.
“Same down-to-earth - again very familiar with the setting here so it should be pretty comfortable."
