NBA NEWS - The Los Angeles Lakers are set to complete the trade of Trevor Ariza this weekend.

And pundit Brandon Robinson has revealed the details of the deal on social media.
LeBron James is set to be joined by Ariza with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope going to the Phoenix Suns.
Robinson also revealed the Philadelphia 76ers are the third team set to be involved in the trade.
He tweeted: “Hearing the third team in potential Trevor Ariza Lakers/Suns deal would be the Philadelphia 76ers.

“Currently being discussed per source: LA giving up KCP & a 1st round pick, Phoenix Suns giving up Trevor Ariza, & the Philadelphia 76ers giving up Markelle Fultz, Shake Milton.”
Speaking on the NBA podcast ‘The Starters’, Leigh Ellis also explained why he believes the trade will happen.
“It’s hard to see what the downside is for the Lakers,” he said.
“If he costs them KCP [Kentavious Caldwell-Pope] and some sort of future second round pick, do it.

“The Lakers, this isn’t a season where they just want to sort of do okay.
“They want to really contend.
“And the West outside of the Warriors is kind of open right now.
“Ariza is a veteran, he’s been there, he’s won a championship, they know what they’re getting.
“Why would you not get him if you’re the Lakers?”
The Lakers were last in action against Miami Heat where they picked up a dramatic 108-105 win.
LeBron and co are 17-10 this season as they push for a place in the playoffs.
The Lakers currently sit fifth in the Western Conference and next face the Houston Rockets on Friday at 1am UK time.
