There have been two days on NBA action and no LeBron James in sight but that will change this evening when he makes his competitive debut for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Lakers completely revamped their roster this offseason, bringing in veterans such as Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee to accompany James and the young squad.
The Blazers are seen as direct rivals for the Lakers in the Western Conference now with James on board as they aim to make a strong run into the playoff places.

Lakers fans don’t have to wait much longer to see their brand new roster in action for the first time this season with LeBron James pulling on the famous purple and gold.
The action gets underway at 3:30am BST (10:30pm ET).

While James featured in the preseason games for the Lakers, the season opener for the Lakers will offer a different match altogether.
He will have to wait until Sunday to walk onto the court at the Staples Center to hear his name cheered by thousands of Laker fans.
But the spotlight will certainly be on the three-time NBA champion this evening when he takes to the floor for his official Lakers debut.
