West Ham transfer news: Hammers to launch improved Domagoj Vida bid
WEST HAM are set to launch a second bid for Croatia World Cup star Domagoj Vida.
The Besiktas defender is attracting interest after his impressive showings for the runners-up in Russia this summer.
West Ham have already had a €25m (£22m) offer turned down by the Turkish outfit in recent weeks.
And French giants Monaco have since swooped in with a bid of €30m (£26.7m) which has also been rejected.
But Turkish newspaper Fanatik claim the Hammers are preparing to re-enter discussions and submit an improved offer.
Vida has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool and Everton since the end of the World Cup.
Liverpool and Everton are huge clubs that have made offers
And the player's agent has confirmed all Premier League clubs have even more competition on their hands.
“It is normal for there to be interest what is important is that the offers satisfy Besiktas and then Vida," said Ugur Avadan.
“Liverpool and Everton are huge clubs that have made offers.
"Barcelona scouted Vida and had him on their shortlist but I do not see a move there happening.

“Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also interested from Spain.”
West Ham have been busy in the transfer window so far this summer.
Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere and Fabian Balbuena have all been added to Manuel Pellegrini's new-look side.
