Chelsea transfer news: Sky Sports pundit tells Maurizio Sarri one deal he must not do
CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri has one aim for the remainder of the transfer window - keep Eden Hazard.
That is the opinion of Sky Sports pundit and former Leicester assistant manager Michael Appleton.
Hazard’s future at Chelsea is in serious doubt after he confirmed he would consider his future following the World Cup.
Real Madrid are said to be keen on the Belgium international and that is said to be his preferred destination.
Sarri, who was only appointed Chelsea boss last week, says he wants to meet with Hazard to discuss his future.
They would give themselves a great opportunity of being competitive
And Appleton says the Italian must make sure he keeps his No 10 if he wants to challenge for major honours this term.
When asked what Sarri must do, Appleton said: “Keep Eden Hazard.
“Just keep him, keep him at the football club.
“I think over a period of time he would have had his targets and he’ll have his targets to possibly replace Willian.

“But for me, their biggest challenge will be keeping Eden Hazard.
“If they do that, they give themselves a great opportunity. His style, the way he likes to play the game.
