Chelsea transfer news: AC Milan chiefs fly into London to hold talks over Alvaro Morata
AC MILAN chiefs are said to have flown to London ahead of talks over a deal for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
That is according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
Chelsea, having appointed Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte’s replacement, are eager to press ahead with their transfer plans.
Recent reports have suggested that Sarri wants to land Gonzalo Higuain as part of a swap deal for Morata.
And according to Pedulla, Milan will hold imminent talks over a deal to sign Morata.
It is said the Serie A outfit will go on a charm offensive to persuade the Blues Morata should join them.

After a promising start to his Stamford Bridge career, the Spaniard saw the goals dry up in the second half of the season.
Having previously played for Juventus, Italy won’t hold too many fears for Morata were he to make the switch.
Despite his troubles last term, Morata posted a picture on Instagram along with a caption last month that seemed to indicate he would stay in west London.
