Paul Pogba: Man Utd send message to star after France reach World Cup final
PAUL POGBA will play for France in the World Cup final on Sunday - and Manchester United were quick to congratulate their midfielder.
Pogba impressed in the 1-0 World Cup semi-final victory over Belgium tonight.
The midfielder’s side came through a nervy encounter thanks to Samuel Umiti’s second-half goal.
Pogba was part of the France side that lost 1-0 to Portugal in the Euro 2016 final two years ago.
And his club Manchester United were swift to praise him progress this summer.

After the match BBC pundit Alan Shearer praised Pogba for his role in France’s victory.
“I think Paul Pogba plays with a freedom in this French team that if he makes a mistake, it is accepted,” Shearer said.
“But he looks scared to make that same mistake in a Manchester United shirt.”
And Rio Ferdinand also gave his view of the ex-Juventus midfielder.
“Paul Pogba showed a maturity today which has grown and grown through the tournament,” Ferdinand said.
