Kylian Mbappe: Real Madrid fans want PSG star to replace Cristiano Ronaldo this summer
REAL MADRID fans would prefer to see Kylian Mbappe sign over Neymar, according to a poll conducted by AS.
Kylian Mbappé will be 'best player in the world' says Balague
The Spanish outlet are today reporting on their front page that Cristiano Ronaldo has given his word to Juventus chief Andrea Agnelli over a stunning €100m (£88m) move this summer.
The Madrid forward revealed doubts about his future after the Champions League final win over Liverpool.
But now a move is apparently in the works, Los Blancos must start to consider which player will come in to replace Ronaldo this summer.
Neymar and World Cup sensation Mbappe have both been touted as potential new arrivals at the Bernabeu recently.
And fans have made it obvious which new recruit they would prefer.
In the AS poll, Mbappe received 89.5 per cent of the votes from Madrid fans, leaving Neymar with just 10.5 per cent.
182,000 people took part in the survey, meaning the French starlet was voted for by over 160,000 participants.
The duo both arrived at PSG last summer as the French giants attempted to bolster their attacking line to ensure Champions League success.
But both Mbappe and Neymar have been linked with moves to La Liga in recent months.
The pair are hoping to guide their respective countries to glory in the World Cup over the next 10 days.
France's Mbappe ran riot against Argentina in the last 16, handing Didier Deschamps' side a quarter-final tie against Uruguay.
Neymar, meanwhile, is preparing to face Belgium this evening.
Ronaldo's Portugal crashed out to Uruguay in the first round of the knockout stages.
