Alderweireld to Man Utd
Manchester United are odds-on to sign Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld this summer.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Alderweireld, 29, with the United boss keen to bolster his defence this summer.
And the bookies have slashed the odds from 11-10 to 8-11 of the defender heading to United after a flurry of bets in the last 24 hours.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “All the indications are that, despite no swap deal being on the table for Martial, Alderweireld will be on the move this summer and that Manchester United are firmly the favourites to sign him.
“We now make it odds on to happen during this transfer window.”
PSG and Barcelona are next in line to sign Alderweireld, with the European giants both priced at 8/1.
Bonucci hopes dashed
Manchester United will not be signing AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci this summer.
The Italian stalwart was brought in as the Serie A side's marquee signing last year, as the club attempted to overhaul their failing squad.
The former European giants have recently been banned from European club competitions for breaching UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations after their excessive spending last summer.
However, despite the club's financial worries, CEO Marco Fassone insists Bonucci will not be departing the club any time soon.
"Leo is our captain, he is not one of the players we are discussing or negotiating," he told supporters during an open Q&A session.
"He is one of the team's strong points and he will stay with us for a long time."
Chelsea’s Willian demand
Manchester United and Barcelona would have to pay an extraordinary amount to sign Willian, according to reports in Spain.
Mourinho is on the hunt for a winger with the possibility that Anthony Martial could leave.
Gareth Bale has been touted as a potential replacement for Martial, but United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward would supposedly have to stump up more than £100million to bring the Welshman back to the Premier League.
Reports last week suggested Barcelona had a £50m bid rejected for Willian.
And now according to Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo, the Blues have hiked up the asking price.
It is suggested that suitors would have to pay close to £70m to get their man.

Marouane Fellaini revelation
Arsenal have been used by Marouane Fellaini’s representatives to get him a better deal at Manchester United.
It emerged last month that the Gunners had held talks over the surprise signing of Belgian midfielder Fellaini, whose contract at United was up.
Fellani’s agent then held talks with other clubs with Fenerbahce, AC Milan and Arsenal among the interested parties.
And according to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, Arsenal were used as a pawn in the negotiation process.
“Mourinho has always been keen to keep hold of him and has been telling him for a year to sign that deal. In a way he tried to gamble a little bit hoping other teams would come in,” Terreur told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“His agent had only one meeting with Arsenal but they never pushed for a deal. AC Milan offered him a deal but they have FFP issues so they couldn’t sign him.”

Daley Blind sacrifice
Manchester United would reportedly have to waive a transfer fee to get rid of Daley Blind.
The versatile star has 12 months left to run on his present deal, however looks likely to leave Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho preparing an overhaul of his squad.
Blind, who has predominantly played as a left-back during his time with the Red Devils, will see opportunities scarce next term as United have already signed Diogo Dalot from Porto.
And now according to the Daily Telegraph, unless United waive a fee, Blind would have to take a pay cut in order to engineer an exit from United.
