Denmark vs France result: Dion Dublin ‘falls asleep’ after slamming World Cup game
DENMARK and France have been slated for their “incredibly poor” 0-0 draw in the World Cup today.
Both sides required just a point to progress to the last-16 in Russia.
And sure enough the match ended 0-0 to become the first goalless draw of the tournament so far.
Fans in Moscow were treated to just four shots on target as neither side looked particularly serious at breaking the deadlock.
And former England striker Dublin was not happy with what he saw.
“This game has been incredibly poor,” he said.
“Both teams have got a lot more firepower than what they showed today.
Dion’s done.

This game has been incredibly poor
“People have paid good money to watch a game at the World Cup and nobody seemed to break sweat.
“For a professional footballer, I would not want his game on my CV.”
Dublin was then snapped by his co-commentator Conor McNamara ‘sleeping’ at the end of the game.
France will head into the last-16 as Group C winners and could meet Argentina in the next round.
Denmark, meanwhile, are likely to face Croatia for a spot in the quarter-finals.
Argentina play Nigeria tonight, with Croatia taking on Iceland in World Cup Group D.
