Juventus transfer news: Emre Can will have medical today, pics emerge of ex-Liverpool man
LIVERPOOL midfielder Emre Can is set to complete his long-awaited move to Juventus after flying in to Turin.
The Germany international's Anfield departure was confirmed earlier this month after the 24-year-old turned down the offer of a new contract.
Can has been linked with Juve for several months and the Serie A champions teed up his signing by posting a video on Twitter of the player being greeted by club officials at Turin Airport.
It was also accompanied by a picture with the caption "Emre Can has landed in Turin".
Liverpool announced earlier this month that Can was leaving the club in an official statement on their website.
It read: “Liverpool FC can confirm that Emre Can and Jon Flanagan will both leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.
“The club today released its Premier League retained list following the conclusion of the 2017-18 campaign, confirming the departure of a number of players in the process.
“Can, who joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, made his 167th and final appearance for Liverpool in last month’s Champions League final defeat by Real Madrid.”
Liverpool have already moved to replaced Can with deals for Fabinho and Naby Keita already confirmed.
