Transfer news: Juventus monitor Chelsea and Arsenal in Aleksandr Golovin battle
JUVENTUS are on a mission to sign Aleksandr Golovin and have sounded out Chelsea and Arsenal’s interest in the player.
Juventus have been linked with Golovin in the Italian press for weeks as they eye the CSKA Moscow star’s £22m price tag.
Golovin is said to be learning English ahead of a move to one of European football’s big leagues this summer.
And Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim Juve are determined to beat Arsenal and Chelsea to the midfielder.
According to the report, 22-year-old Golovin is Juve CEO Beppe Marotta’s top priority this summer.
And the official wants to make sure neither Chelsea nor Arsenal steal ahead of him in the transfer battle.
Tuttosport claim CSKA have already rejected a £15.8m bid for Golovin this summer.
Juve will go back in with an improved off but have so far refused to meet CSKA’s asking price.

The newspaper clim Barcelona are also in for the playmaker, who is currently with the Russia side at the World Cup.
Martha is reportedly trying to ‘anticipate’ the movements of Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona by snapping Golovin up before the others get their bids together.
