Aleksandar Kolarov: Man Utd hero Patrice Evra reveals how he would MOCK star at Man City
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Patrice Evra has revealed how he would mock Aleksandar Kolarov during his early days at Manchester City.
Evra, who is working for ITV as a pundit for the World Cup, says Kolarov lived on the same road as him.
Presenter Jacqui Oatley asked if the Serbian was a good neighbour.
“Was he a good neighbour? Did he put your bins out when you were away?” she said.
And Evra said he would boast about his Premier League winners’ medals to his Manchester City rival.
“He was a good neighbour,” the Frenchman replied.
I was showing him a lot my Premier League trophy!
“But I was showing him a lot my Premier League trophy!”
Kolarov first moved to City in 2010 and went on to win two league titles at the Etihad, three less than Evra’s tally of five at Manchester United.
Kolarov scored the only goal for Serbia in their World Cup opener against Costa Rica today with a sublime free kick and Evra was impressed with his performance.
“Kolarov is a warrior. You could see as a captain he couldn’t let down his team,” Evra added.

“If you talk about the free kick, as we say in France: voila.
“We’re talking about his free kick, but I think in the 92nd minute he made a great header.
“When he went to Italy they taught him about the line on the second post is really important.
“So I’m not just talking about the free kick but even his defensive duty was very good today.”
