Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: Henrik Larsson not convinced by Man Utd transfer target
MANCHESTER UNITED transfer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic did not do enough against Costa Rica to convince Henrik Larsson he was good enough for a move to Old Trafford.
Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
The 23-year-old started for Serbia in their opening Group E game against Costa Rica today.
At half time, with the score at 0-0, Larsson and fellow pundit Patrice Evra were asked about United’s interest in Milinkovic-Savic.
But Larsson says it was too early to say if he was ready for a move to United.
I don’t feel he has done that much in this game so far
“It’s so hard to say,” he said on ITV.
“I don’t feel he has done that much in this game so far.
“He’s done a few interesting things but not really made a mark in my sense.
“I see this game and I don’t agree with you that Serbia are the better team.

“I think why he’s up there all the time is because Costa Rica are not giving him the space to drop down where he really wants to play.
“As soon as he sees the space is too tight he has to go up because they have to play a longer ball or a cross.
“But I think I want to see him a little bit more in this position.”
Serbia went on to beat Costa Rica 1-0 thanks to an Aleksandar Kolarov free kick.
