Man Utd transfer news: Chelsea star Willian makes Fred claim... and drops hint of his own
MANCHESTER UNITED transfer target Willian insists Fred will shine at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
The Red Devils today announced they had reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for Brazil international Fred.
United are expected to unveil their new midfield signing in the coming days.
And Chelsea star Willian, who is also a target for Jose Mourinho this summer, says Fred will shine at one of the best teams in the world - possibly hinting he could follow his fellow countryman to Old Trafford.
When asked if Fred will be a success under Mourinho at United, Willian was quick to praise Chelsea's rivals, seemingly being on the charm offensive to his potential suitors.
"Of course, no doubt, no doubt about that," he said.
"He has a lot of quality, he can improve a lot.
He goes to one of the best teams in the world and I'm happy for him

Mourinho tried to sign Chelsea winger Willian last summer, however, a move didn’t materialise.

The Brazil star confirmed that United and Willian’s representatives held talks over a possible switch.
United will spend big this summer in hope of keeping up with Manchester City next season.
