Liverpool want Lyon forward Fekir to be their second summer transfer deal.
The Reds have already moved quickly to sign Fabinho from Monaco, who for months had been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Liverpool are eager to make a statement this summer after their Champions League heartache against Real Madrid at the weekend.
And the Liverpool Echo say Klopp is aggressively pursuing a deal for Fekir.
The two parties are both in talks over a £60million deal that would see the Lyon man become their second most-expensive signing of all time.
Surprisingly, however, Klopp is said to want more.
Even if Fekir signs, the Liverpool Echo say the Reds will still press ahead with their plans to sign another forward.
Liverpool’s strikeforce is currently the envy of Europe.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all enjoyed stunning campaigns, scoring over 20 goals each.
Despite that, however, Liverpool want more if they are to win a first-ever Premier League title.

And several players are on the Reds’ hierarchy.
Klopp has already admitted he will pursue a deal for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele if he becomes available.
The Frenchman could quit Barca having struggled during his solitary season as the club.
And Thomas Lemar, of Monaco, is another player on the Reds’ radar.
