Manchester United transfer news: Done deal confirmed for teenager
MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Dion McGhee has signed a professional contract at the club.
The 17-year-old academy graduate said: “It’s a proud moment for me and my family.
“I’m really happy to get the contract signed. I’ve worked hard and listened to my coaches, listening to the advice and just enjoying what I do.”
McGhee increasingly became part of the United U18s side this season, making 13 appearances.
He becomes the fourth player - after Brandon Williams, Ethan Galbraith and James Garner - to pen pro terms with the club this spring.

The midfielder added: “My family and my coaches have helped me kick on and improved me as a person.
“[United have] the best facilities in the country. What a place and what a club Manchester United is.
“This [signing a first professional contract] is just a confidence-booster for next season.
“I’ve already got my goals and targets, now it’s just [about] pushing on and keep achieving.
“It’s time to relax a bit now but I’ll come back hungrier than ever and ready to go next season.”
