Player of the Season: Liverpool's Mohamed Salah favourite, Man Utd and Man City aces named
LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah leads a six-man shortlist for Premier League Player of the Season.
Mohamed Salah has scored 31 league goals
The other names on the shortlist - Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, James Tarkowski, David De Gea and Raheem Sterling.
Salah and De Bruyne have gone head-to-head in the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards, with the Liverpool ace coming on top.
And the two outstanding players of the season will be battle again for the Premier League prize.
The competition will come from Kane, who has enjoyed another stunning campaign for Tottenham despite two spells on the sidelines with injury.
Kevin De Bruyne has been Man City's player of the year
De Bruyne’s City team-mate Raheem Sterling has had the best season of his career with 18 goals and 11 assists.
Manchester United’s De Gea is the only goalkeeper nominated after a campaign full of top saves and 17 clean sheets.
Burnley’s Tarkowski has had an impressive season with 11 clean sheets and a call-up to the England team.
Supporters can vote via the Barclays Facebook page until midday on May 13 while a panel of football experts will also decide on the recipient of the award.
N’Golo Kante won the award in 2017 after Chelsea won Premier League title.
