Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard slams unprofessional Reds against Roma
LIVERPOOL were unprofessional in allowing Roma back into the Champions League semi-final.

That is according to BT Sport pundit and legendary Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
The Reds raced into a 5-0 lead at Anfield in the first-leg clash.
Goals from Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino (both two) and Sadio Mane put Jurgen Klopp’s side into dreamland on Merseyside.
But two goals inside the last 10 minutes from the visitors gave them a glimmer of hope going into the second leg in Rome next Wednesday.

First Edin Dzeko beat Loris Karius at the near post from close range before Diego Perotti scored a penalty after James Milner was adjudged to have handled the ball.
Gerrard was critical of Liverpool for not killing off the tie.
“Of course, 100 per cent (I would have taken 5-2 before the match),” Gerrard said.
“But in the game, when you go 5-0 up, you have to kill the game.

“It’s all about game management and being professional and keep your focus until the end.
“Liverpool came down in the gears towards the end and paid for it.
