Chelsea news: Antonio Conte reveals reason behind surprise Eden Hazard decision at Burnley
ANTONIO CONTE has explained why he didn’t start Eden Hazard for Chelsea against Burnley.

Hazard was left out of the starting line-up for Chelsea as Conte partnered Olivier Giroud with Alvaro Morata up front.
Although the Belgian playmaker has been instrumental for the Blues, Conte waited until the 71st minute before unleashing him and taking off Morata.
With one eye on the FA Cup semi-final tie against Southampton on Sunday (3pm), Conte rang in the changes and decided to give Hazard a breather.
And elaborating on his selection decision, the Italian tactician said: “It is a better squad. The changes they had were unbelievable.

Although Morata missed a very presentable opportunity before being substituted for Hazard, Conte insists that had nothing to do with his decision.

He added: “Honestly. Around 70 minutes I thought that it was better to put fresh strength with Hazard.
“He is a player that has different characteristics to Morata. I am pleased for their performances, played very well.”
Chelsea are now five points behind fourth placed Tottenham in the Premier League with four games remaining.
