Scott McTominay reveals two Man Utd academy stars who fans should be VERY excited by
MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Scott McTominay has predicted Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong will be the next academy stars to break into the first team.
Man Utd's Angel Gomes shows off outrageous skills
Scott McTominay has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Manchester United and has made 12 appearances in all competitions already this term.
He started the 2-0 win over Huddersfield ahead of Paul Pogba and appears to be part of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Old Trafford.
And the 21-year-old has claimed he is not the only youngster making waves at the club and expects Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong to make their mark soon.
In an interview with United’s partners HCL, McTominay said: “There’s a number of different boys in the younger ages groups.

“But I feel like Angel and Chongy have got great potential.
“Hopefully one day they will be in the first-team and training with us regularly and getting as much game-time as they possibly can.”
McTominay made his debut for United last season in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and has since kicked on in the first team.
And he has admitted he will never forget walking out at the Emirates, even if the result was not what he had hoped for.
Tahith Chong is destined for the first team, says Scott McTominay

“It was such a surreal moment for me, obviously it was in a massive stadium,” he added.
“It was such a big game for me and my family, my mum and dad were sat in the away end.It was an overwhelming day.
“I went back to the hotel that night and I was playing against Arsenal the next day for the reserves – it just didn’t quite sink in until I was home.
“Even to play twice in two days at the Emirates was unbelievable and something I will never forget for the rest of my life.”
