Liverpool announce Anderson Arroyo transfer: ‘What a signing’, ‘we sign who want’
LIVERPOOL have completed the signing of 18-year-old defender Anderson Arroyo from Colombian side Fortaleza CEIF.

Arroyo - a Colombia Under-20 international - has immediately joined Spanish second division leaders Real Mallorca on an 18-month loan deal.
The left-back previously underwent a trial with Liverpool and agreed terms on a switch last month during the transfer window.
Arroyo made 22 appearances in three seasons for Fortaleza.
The transfer announcement was greeted with a sarcastic response from a number of Liverpool fans.
Writing on Twitter, one supporter said: “Yes! I knew we were saving the war chest for this.”
Another joked: “Can’t control us can you we don’t play by transfer windows we sign who want when we want…”

A fourth fan said: “You spelt Thomas Lemar wrong.”
Arroyo is the second left-back to join Liverpool in the past fortnight.
Scotland youth international Tony Gallacher joined from Falkirk for £250,000 during the final days of the January transfer window.
Gallacher made his debut for Liverpool's Under-23 team in last night's defeat to Tottenham.
