Chelsea news: Fans demand SHOCK replacement for under-fire Antonio Conte
CHELSEA fans appear to be at the end of their tether with Antonio Conte.
Antonio Conte: As coach my task is to do the best for club
After a humiliating 4-1 defeat away to Watford at Vicarage Road, Conte’s future at Chelsea appears to be on a knife edge.
Following the highs of the title success last term, the Blues are in danger of finishing out the top four.
The loss against the Hornets was symbolic of the struggles Conte’s men have faced this campaign.
They equalised despite being down to 10 men after Tiemoue Bakayoko had been sent off for two yellow cards.
Yet Watford took the sting out of the game with three goals in six second-half minutes.
Antonio Conte appears to be living on borrowed time at Stamford Bridge
A number of candidates have been touted as a potential successor to the Italian, with the likes of Diego Simeone and Carlo Ancelotti being bandied about.
But the Blues faithful have a firm idea of who should steady the ship.
And it is one former player - Jody Morris!
The only manager for life after conte should be given a fair chance is @morriskid #CHEBOU

Surely @morriskid must be considered as interim until the end of the season...It can't get much worse than this...Conte easily one of Chelsea's worrst managers under RA...One trick pony...Boring one at that and got found out a year ago...Time to leave. @ChelseaFC

Jody Morris needs to be first team manager now. The youth team plays better than first team

Fans took to Twitter in their droves to suggest that Morris should ensure he is suited and booted and wait for the call.
Blues legend Frank Lampard was also urged to come back to Stamford Bridge to assist.
It remains to be seen how long Conte will be in the dugout for, but they face West Brom next week (8pm).
