Hammers boss David Moyes offered £15m for midfielder Cairney, according to The Sun on Sunday, but the Championship promotion contenders are under no pressure to sell.
Fulham’s captain was absent for yesterday’s 3-1 win at Barnsley sparking speculation over his future but he missed out due to a knee problem, which has limited his impact this term.
Whites head coach Slavisa Jokanovic said: “I spoke with him yesterday, he's unhappy with this situation he has with the knee.
“I tried to force him but he wasn't available to work with us so I didn't bring him today.

“I had planned to bring him on bench but I expect he will be available for next game.”
Cairney, 27, is under contract at Craven Cottage until June 2021 after extending his contract last summer.
Speaking earlier this month, he said: “I signed a contract extension in the summer and I can't do much more than that to commit my future to the club.
