Aubameyang to Arsenal: Why Dortmund are DESPERATE to make transfer happen now
PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG’s future at Borussia Dortmund continues to be a hot topic of debate and reports in Germany suggest the Bundesliga club are desperate to offload the striker before the transfer deadline.
But Arsenal seemingly hold all the cards with Sky Sports Germany claiming Dortmund chiefs are desperate to see the back of the 28-year-old.
Both managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Michael Zorc are said to believe it is better for the two parties to “break up”.
Aubameyang was suspended by the club two weeks ago for disciplinary reasons as he missed a team meeting.

And Dortmund head coach Peter Stoeger issued a hurry-up call to Arsenal in regards to agreeing a fee to sign Aubameyang.
“I can only say that we would soon like to have a solution to this situation,” Stoeger said.
“Whatever the outcome of this matter, everyone would agree that whatever brings clarity will help the team.”
