Manchester United backed to sign Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil
MANCHESTER UNITED would be vastly improved signing Arsenal stars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
Shaka Hislop says Ozil transfer to Man United will happen
That is according to former Chelsea and Scotland midfielder Craig Burley, who now works as a pundit for ESPN.
Both Sanchez and Ozil are out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season.
Sanchez has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, with Ozil reportedly on the radar of Manchester United.
A fan tweeted in to ESPN FC asking whether the duo would be good signings for United.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil would be great signings for Manchester United, says Burley
Yeah, if he could pull that off, absolutely, 100 per cent. Would that improve them? Yes.
The Red Devils fan asked: “Should Manchester United try and get Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil for free at the end of the season?
“It’s so clear they need a winger and an attacking midfielder.”
Burley is a fan of the idea and says it would be some coup if United boss Jose Mourinho could complete those two deals in the close season.
“I wouldn’t be against that,” he said.
