JACK WILSHERE claims Arsenal were scared of Liverpool for the first half, before launching an extraordinary comeback to draw 3-3 at the Emirates this evening.

Liverpool were in full control of the game in the first 45 minutes and could have put the game to bed had they put their chances away.
Philippe Coutinho’s effort was enough to give the Reds a half-time lead and Mohamed Salah doubled the margin shortly after the break.
But three quick-fire goals from Alexis Sanchez, Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil turned the game on its head before the hour mark.
Roberto Firmino finished off the night with an equaliser to leave both teams with a share of the spoils.

However, Wilshere admits the Gunners are frustrated not to have collected all three points against their top four rivals.
"We didn't do ourselves justice in the first half. We were scared to play our game," Wilshere said.
“We allowed them to take the game to us.

"[In the second half] we were much better, we were on the front foot.
“We will be disappointed not to win the game."
Arsenal return to action next Thursday when they travel to Crystal Palace.
