Clinton Morrison believes Aston Villa are compounding Birmingham fans' woes
That is according to ex-Blues striker Clinton Morrison, who is concerned by his former team’s struggles.
Birmingham head into tomorrow’s clash against Championship league leaders Wolves (7.45pm) occupying the final spot in the relegation zone.
Harry Redknapp made a flurry of signings in the summer before being sacked and his successor, Steve Cotterill, is struggling to pick up points.
“Yeah, I do worry for my old team,” Morrison said on Football on 5: The Championship.
“I speak to a lot of the fans and they’re disappointed, especially how Villa are doing so well up there and Wolves are doing well.”
Wolves are steamrollering opponents on a regular basis but Morrison believes Birmingham have a chance.

“It is kind of a derby, I know that Villa Birmingham is a massive one, but that is a derby,” he said.
“The Birmingham players will be up for it and hopefully they can get a result.”
When asked for a prediction, Morrison replied: “I’ve got to go for my old team - Birmingham, one-nil.
“Wolves are flying but [St Andrew’s] is a difficult place.”
