Everton are set to appoint Sam Allardyce as manager while Romelu Lukaku has avoided a ban
Everton are set to appoint Sam Allardyce as manager in the next 24 hours as they look to turn around a dismal start to the season.
The Toffees have reportedly caved in to the former England manager’s wage demands as they look to halt an alarming slide down the table.
Meanwhile The Sun report that Alan Pardew is to be named West Brom boss in the near future, with the ex-Newcastle manager in line to land a £1million bonus if he keeps the Baggies up.
The Mirror claim Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January after the Gabon striker has fallen out of favour at Borussia Dortmund.
The Bundesliga club blamed the 28-year-old for their 4-4 draw with Schalke last weekend, having been 4-0 up when Aubameyang was sent off, and now look ready to offload the out-of-favour frontman.
Finally, Romelu Lukaku has escaped a ban that would have ruled him out of the Manchester derby after appearing to kick out at Brighton defender Gaetan Bong.
The Manchester United striker will not face action for the incident during the Red Devils’ 1-0 win last weekend.
