Defending champions Chelsea had a tough start to the season, losing to Burnley on the opening day at Stamford Bridge.

But Ferdinand does not think it is a coincidence that since Hazard has been fully fit, Chelsea’s form has improved.
He says he and midfielder N’Golo Kante are the two players who make the side tick.
“I think the summer maybe played a part and the manager being a bit disgruntled with things going on behind the scenes,” Ferdinand said on BT Sport.
“Maybe that carried over into the season.
