Birmingham vs Aston Villa: David Prutton’s Second City derby prediction
ASTON VILLA striker Jonathan Kodjia will return to the scoresheet but it won’t be enough to secure all three points against Birmingham City.
Birmingham vs Aston Villa: David Prutton is predicting a draw
That is according to Sky Sports’ Championship expert David Prutton, who believes the Second City derby will be an entertaining draw.
Kodjia, 28, has only scored once this season, having missed the opening weeks of the campaign through injury.
Villa beat Fulham last weekend to move into the play-off spots and Prutton believes Steve Bruce will be determined to cut the gap on the automatic places.
But, according to Prutton, Birmingham manager Steve Cotterill will have his side fired up following their 2-0 defeat to Millwall.
He said: “If you can't get yourself up for a game like this then what can you get yourself up for?

The Second City derby returns and it should be a fabulous occasion as St Andrew's
“The Second City derby returns and it should be a fabulous occasion as St Andrew's.
“Steve Cotterill was riding high after winning his first game in charge against Cardiff, but Birmingham came down with a bit of a bump at Millwall last week and he'll want a reaction here.
“Aston Villa, meanwhile, are in the play-offs and they'll want to continue to close in on the top two, but I feel like this will be a draw. Albeit an entertaining one.
“2-2 with Jonathan Kodjia to score first.”
Birmingham are 21/10 with Betsafe to secure all three points, a draw can be backed at 11/5 while Villa are priced at 7/5.
