Wolves news: Benny Ashley-Seal signing announced, fee agreed with Norwich City
WOLVES have announced the signing of former Norwich City prospect Benny Ashley-Seal.
Wolves: Benny Ashley-Seal has joined the Championship leaders
Striker Ashley-Seal, 18, has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year contract at Molineux after snubbing a pro deal with the Canaries.
As a result, Wolves have had to pay an undisclosed compensation fee to Norwich.
A tweet from the club said: “Wolves have agreed a deal to sign young striker Benny Ashley-Seal, a free agent having left Norwich prior to the closure of transfer window.
“The 18-year-old, who has signed a two-and-a-half year contract, goes into Scott Sellars' Under-23 squad.”

Ashley-Seal quit Norwich at the end of last season after snubbing terms at Carrow Road.
He had a trial spell for Premier League champions Chelsea in July and played for their development side in a pre-season friendly against Aldershot.
Ashley-Seal, who joined Norwich from Arsenal at the age of 14, never made a senior appearance for the Canaries.
Wolves Under-23s’ next game is against Middlesbrough on Sunday (1pm).
