Chelsea news: Antonio Conte provides N'Golo Kante fitness update ahead of Bournemouth game
CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte has provided an update on N'Golo Kante's fitness.
Chelsea star N’Golo Kante forced off with injury
The French midfielder has missed the Blues’ last four games after suffering a thigh injury on international duty at the start of September.
But earlier this week Conte offered hope that he may be available for tomorrow’s visit to face Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Conte was asked about how Kante’s progressing at today’s press conference as Chelsea prepare to get their title challenge back on track.
And although he admitted the 26-year-old will not be risked at Bournemouth, he revealed he’s not far off a first-team return.

Conte said: "N’Golo is still not ready.
"We have to wait and hope to have him back for the Roma game."
Conte went on to discuss Danny Drinkwater, who made his long-awaited Chelsea debut on Wednesday night.

He added: "Danny played against Everton but he needs to find the right physical condition.
"The other players are available."
Chelsea cannot move higher than fourth in the Premier League this weekend but they can close the gap on Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.
