Manchester United will not make any signings on deadline day - Duncan Castles
MANCHESTER UNITED are not expecting to make any signings on deadline day.
Jose Mourinho does not expect to make anymore signings
That is the opinion on journalist Duncan Castles.
Manchester United have splashed out over £150million on Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof this summer.
The Red Devils are currently flying high in the Premier League after three successive victories.
Jose Mourinho has repeatedly stated his desire to land four summer signings but he has re-signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Mourinho wants a left-sided player with Danny Rose, Ivan Perisic and Gareth Bale all linked, but it looks like he will have to wait until January.
"I had a chat with my Manchester United contact this morning, he does not expect them to make additions although Jose would still like a left-back or a winger, [Thomas] Lemar being one of the guys he wants they don't expect players to come in at this stage," Castles said on The Transfer Window podcast.
"Also interestingly, don't expect players to go out. Andreas Pereira is being chased by Valencia, but Mourinho wants to keep him in the squad, he sees him as a free hit.

"He is exactly 21-years-old for the qualifying date for under-21 players so that allows him a free player in his Champions League and Premier League squad.
"And as a guy who is capable of playing multiple positions and physically quite big.”
