Arsenal v Chelsea team news confirmed: Injury woe for Gunners, Morata on bench for Blues
ARSENAL are without Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey for the Community Shield against Chelsea.
Conte laughs off Hazard to Barcelona rumours
Sanchez is not yet fit to play following his late return from international duty in the summer with Chile but Ramsey and Ozil are out with knocks having failed to train in recent days.
It means a depleted squad for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger but summer signing Alexandre Lacazette starts in attack supported by Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi.
Arsenal's other transfer signing Sead Kolasinac is on the bench alongside Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.
For Chelsea, Antonio Conte names his strongest possible XI and the same team which beat Arsenal in pre-season last month.
It means no start for Alvaro Morata with Michy Batshuayi leading the attack.
Antonio Rudiger is also on the bench for Chelsea, who are also without the injured Tiemoue Bakayoko and Eden Hazard.
Mesut Ozil is out for Arsenal
