Jurgen Klopp discusses Daniel Sturridge’s injury: Liverpool boss wants him back soon
DANIEL STURRIDGE could miss the start of the season for Liverpool after picking up an injury in the win over Bayern Munich.

Daniel Sturridge chipped home as Liverpool sealed an emphatic 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Audi Cup earlier this evening.
Sturridge scored with a cheeky effort after latching on to a through ball from Ben Woodburn.
However, immediately after scoring, the 27-year-old immediately pulled up, appearing to clutch his thigh muscle.
Sturridge’s Anfield career has been stop start so far due to a catalogue of injuries.
And when asked about the seriousness of Sturridge’s problem, Klopp said: “He hurt his thigh.

Klopp meanwhile, was pleased with the performance and thinks the Reds are warming up nicely ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
