'The rumours are false' - Man Utd star Anthony Martial dismisses transfer speculation
MANCHESTER UNITED forward Anthony Martial has dismissed claims he's told Jose Mourinho he wants to leave the club.
Man United Anthony Martial scores impressive last minute goal
After an impressive debut season in English football, Martial struggled to make the same impression under Jose Mourinho in 2016/17 with just nine goals in 45 appearances for Manchester United.
And 21-year-old was publicly criticised by Mourinho last term over his performances.
Last weekend reports linked Martial with a shock £40million move to Arsenal.
While speculation in France suggested Martial has been unable to speak with Mourinho about his future.
But the French attacker used his official Twitter account to shrug off the speculation, calling it false.

The rumours are false
Martial tweeted: "The rumours are false."
This is not the first time Martial has used Twitter to play down transfer rumours.
In February, Martial was linked with Paris Saint Germain but wrote: "Don't listen the papers it's wrong thanks. Come on United."
Despite Martial's declaration, he could face a battle to start regularly at Old Trafford next season.
United have been strongly linked with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata while Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic is also rumoured to be a target.
