Chelsea transfer update: Crystal Palace chief discusses move for striker Loic Remy
CRYSTAL PALACE chairman Steve Parish has revealed the club are not interested in signing Chelsea loanee Loic Remy on a permanent deal.
Steve Parish plays down move for Chelsea striker Loic Remy
Remy joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan in August but has struggled for game time following a number of injury setbacks.
The France international had to wait until January to make his first appearance for the Eagles and has featured just seven times since.
And Parish has wished Remy well for the future, suggesting the 28-year-old's time at Selhurst Park is coming to an end.
Remy has just one year remaining on his contract at Chelsea, where he's made just 15 starts since joining in 2014.

Crystal Palace do not want Chelsea striker Loic Remy
The Palace chief told Holmesdale Radio: "I don't know how he's feeling, I haven't spoken to Loic.
"He's been injured for most of the season unfortunately, so it's very, very difficult.
"I think Loic had the odd chance but it has been a long time without football for him when you look back at Chelsea and his lack of appearances there.
"It didn't work out for him, so we wish him all the best. With injuries and what have you this season, it didn't work."
Parish revealed earlier this week that Palace are interested in keeping on-loan Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho beyond the summer.

“The money needs to work for us and for Liverpool,” Parish said. “I am sure there will be a negotiation.
"If we can make it work of course we would like to, I am not going to try and be coy about it.
"He is a very good player. He likes being with us and we like him. Let’s hope we can do it.
“You cannot con anyone that he did not make a massive difference. He is a big character and has the respect of all of the players. It is one we would like to do.”
