CRYSTAL PALACE chairman Steve Parish has confirmed the club are interested in signing Mamadou Sakho on a permanent basis.
Liverpool want £30m for Crystal Palace loanee Mamadou Sakho
Sakho joined Crystal Palace on a six-month loan deal in January and played a key part in helping Sam Allardyce's side avoid Premier League relegation.
The Evening Standard claim parent club Liverpool have slapped a £30million price tag on defender Sakho.
Parish is keen to keep the France international at Selhurst Park, but insists the deal must make financial sense for the club.
“The money needs to work for us and for Liverpool,” Parish told Holmesdale Radio.
“I am sure there will be a negotiation.

"If we can make it work of course we would like to, I am not going to try and be coy about it.
"He is a very good player. He likes being with us and we like him. Let’s hope we can do it.
“You cannot con anyone that he did not make a massive difference. He is a big character and has the respect of all of the players. It is one we would like to do.”
Sakho is currently out of action with a knee injury he picked up in last month's 1-0 defeat against Tottenham.
