Monaco’s hitman has earned plenty of attention from Europe’s elite this season.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona have all been linked with interest, but Madrid are said to be his preferred destination.
Monaco are keen to keep hold of 18-year-old Mbappe for at least another year, having put a heavy price-tag on their young asset.

Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata will apparently be allowed to leave as Madrid bank on Mbappe
But according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Madrid have already had an £69million bid rejected and Monaco expect them to return with another offer.
An £86m approach is said to be Perez’s plan, while others will leave to free up funds and space in attack.
Strikers Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata will apparently be allowed to leave as Madrid bank on Mbappe for the future.
Benzema has endured a difficult season at the Bernabeu despite remaining their first-choice frontman, while Morata has been strongly linked with a summer move to Chelsea.
In Zinedine Zidane’s team next term, Gareth Bale and Mbappe would be responsible for setting up Cristiano Ronaldo, who wants a central role.
