And despite reports claiming Liverpool will look to cash-in on Sturridge this summer, the 27-year-old insists he is not worried about his future at Anfield.
When asked if he can be a big player for Liverpool when fit, Sturridge said: "Of course. It’s I guess one of those things.
"I’m at this club and enjoying the football when I’m playing. The manager has shown his faith in me, we have a good relationship.
"The fans have been different class. We’ll see. I don’t have any worries for next season. We have one last game. We need the three points and then we’ll be in the Champions League."
