Alexis Sanchez approves move to this club: Agreement eyed with Arsenal - journalist
ALEXIS SANCHEZ has reportedly given his approval on a summer switch from Arsenal to Bayern Munich.
Alexis Sanchez scores spectacular goal for Arsenal against Stoke
The Gunners look set to lose their star man, who only has one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
No extension appears forthcoming, meaning Arsenal would face losing the 28-year-old for free next year unless they sell.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has Sanchez on his summer wishlist, while Manchester City are also keen.
However, Arsene Wenger insists the Gunners are determined not to let the Chile international join a direct rival.
Sanchez's solid form at Arsenal this term may still not be enough to earn Champions League football
Bayern have accelerated ahead in the race for Sanchez
Outside of the Premier League, Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest, with Edinson Cavani even saying Sanchez would be welcomed in France.
But previous reports have claimed the Bundesliga giants are confident of winning the battle to sign the Arsenal forward, with a £55million move touted.
And according to Italian journalist Matteo Pedrosi, Bayern have accelerated ahead in the race for Sanchez.
It is said the German outfit have got the all clear from the former Barcelona man, who is willing to join.
As a result, Bayern will now seek an agreement with Arsenal over a fee, having jumped ahead of PSG.
Chelsea and City can compete with Bayern financially, but a Premier League deal appears far more difficult to complete.
