Liverpool transfer news: This move isn't a priority… Jurgen Klopp wants this man
JURGEN KLOPP is planning to bolster his defensive options this summer and reportedly has three defenders on his wish list.
Liverpool have the worst defensive record of any side in the top five in the Premier League and have conceded 19 more goals than Tottenham, who boast the best defence.
And Jurgen Klopp plans to resolve that problem by investing heavily in a top centre-back this summer.
Joel Matip has had a steady debut season at Anfield while Dejan Lovren was recently rewarded with a new long-term contract.

Virgil Van Dijk remains Liverpool's top target for the summer
But Klopp has drawn up a list of three centre-backs he is considering making a move for when the transfer window re-opens.
Recent reports have suggested Liverpool are planning a £25million move for Burnley defender Michael Keane.
However, the Liverpool Echo claim Keane isn't top of their wish list and would only consider a move if they miss out on their first choice options.
Michael Keane is reportedly not a top target for Liverpool
The report claims Virgil Van Dijk remains Liverpool's top transfer target for the summer with Manchester City and Chelsea also chasing the £50million-rated centre-back.
Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly viewed as a back-up option to Van Dijk should Liverpool miss out on the Southampton ace.
Claude Puel recently shot down rumours linking Van Dijk with a move away from Southampton, but the defender is understood to be keen on playing Champions League football.
